When Kristin contacted me about photographing her newborn boy, Callen, I was so excited!  Newborn sessions are among my favorite, and Fresh 48 sessions in the hospital, are no exception.  Many times these sessions are taken to capture the first moments that older siblings meet their new baby brother or sister, and their reactions can be priceless!  Big sis Jocelyn had met her new brother the day before, but today she was getting to spend a bit more time with him during our session.  She was very curious about him, and understandably hesitant to share her mom.

Baby Callen was dressed in a long sleeve white onsie and a personalized hat from Babies Republic.  The simplicity of this outfit was perfect, because it allows baby to be the star!  I also loved that Kristin purchased a beautiful blue robe to wear for pictures, so she felt beautiful, and much more comfortable than in just her hospital gown 😉

Jocelyn loved peeking over the side of Callen’s bassinette to peek at him.  She will be a wonderful big sister, I can’t wait to watch her and little bro Callen grow!  Congratulations Kristin & Brad, you have a beautiful family!
