When Kaine’s mommy, Emily, contacted me about a newborn session I was so excited.  See, she wanted to celebrate her rainbow baby.  A beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better…A rainbow baby brings light where there was previously darkness.  Rainbow babies have a special place in my heart, and I make sure that kDarling Photography has special ways to celebrate all new lives!  

To say big brother Colby, “likes” his baby brother would be a massive understatement!  What an amazing big brother he is!  He even asked to be in more pictures – melts my heart!  

Kaine was an amazing sleeper, and slept through most of his session, stopping to eat a couple of times.  A full belly makes us all happy and sleepy – right?  While he was asleep, I was able to grab some lovely macro images of all of his little features – eyelashes, lips, fingers, toes, etc…He graced us with some awesome open eyed opportunities too – love it when newborns seem to be looking right at the camera!
