When my photographer friends ask me to photograph their newborns, families, seniors, etc.., it leaves me feeling both exhilarated and apprehensive.  Exhilarated because I have friends who are simply put, AMAZING photographers!  Apprehensive, because these people are AH-mazing photographers and it’s such an honor that they chose little ole me as their photographer!

My friend Sarah Jane is no exception to that rule.  She has so much talent and is a marketing genius!  Anyway, I was so extremely flattered when she contacted me about being the newborn photographer for her second baby girl, Olivia – and then I was immediately nervous – this girl is legit, what if I screw everything up?! Haha!

The big day finally came.  Baby girl had arrived and at 4 days new, this brand new family of 4 made the hour long drive from their home near Decatur to my studio here in Fisher.  Things could not have gone better!  Sweet little Olivia slept peacefully as she was cradled on the bed for photos with her proud big sister Brooklyn.  She flashed us her sweet double dimples and gave us some adorable baby smiles.

I can’t wait to see how Olivia has grown at each of her upcoming milestones sessions.  It’s so rewarding to watch these little ones grow during their first year and beyond.
