When my lifelong best friend, Heather asked me to photograph her family on the front porch of their new home in Cissna Park, I was over the moon excited!  Being invited to photograph families in places that are so special to them makes our time spent together even more meaningful.  Heather and I met in preschool, formed a sticker club together as kids, played sports on the same teams throughout school, took part in each other’s weddings and rejoiced with each other when our children were born.  There is nothing like having a history with someone for so much of your life.  We can go months without seeing each other, but catch up right where we left off when reunited. 

Heather has a flair for making a house a home.  Her style is warm and inviting, just like her personality.  She and her husband Patrick have 4 kiddos with some of the biggest most genuine smiles you will ever see.  Patrick is quick witted and always has a kind word to say. They compliment each other so well, and are such a wonderful family to know.  When you drive by their home you can imagine sitting on the front porch drinking lemonade and eating one of the many delicious treats Heather is famous for making!

Morrical family, my prayer for you is that your home is always filled with laughter and love.  May His constant love stream through the windows of your new home and into the hearts of all that live or visit here and may the warmth of His grace and His perfect peace be your every present comfort in time of need.
