Most newborn shoots are scheduled in the morning, when babies are typically a bit tired after their late-night adventures. However, since you know your baby best, I’ll work with you to find a time that fits your family’s needs and ensures everyone feels relaxed and comfortable.

However, since you know your baby best, I’ll work with you to find a time that fits your family’s needs and ensures everyone feels relaxed and comfortable.
Newborn sessions are all-inclusive, meaning the session cost covers your session time, my expertise, and all final edited images delivered through an online gallery with full printing rights. Sessions take place at my studio in Fisher, where our time together is always relaxed, fun, and designed to move at your family’s pace. You can expect the session to last about an hour to an hour and a half, ensuring plenty of time to capture those precious moments without feeling rushed.

Senior Portrait Sessions are scheduled at the studio in Fisher or one of my favorite outdoor locations and are always fun & relaxed.
You can expect a senior session to take up to an hour. Limited to up to 3 clothing changes and 2 locations within 10 minutes of each other. These sessions include all of the final edited images delivered via an online gallery.*

Mini Senior Portrait Sessions are also scheduled at the studio in Fisher or one of my favorite outdoor locations and are perfect for when you just want a few updated images.
You can expect a mini portrait session to take up to 30 minutes and are limited to a maximum of 2 clothing changes and 1 location. Mini Portrait Sessions include 10 images of your choosing.
A non-refundable retainer of $100 & signed contract is due at the time of booking.
Your balance will be due at your session.
If you need to reschedule, your deposit will be transferred to your new date!
*An additional hour can be added for $250 each hour up to 2 hours. Hours must be consecutive.

The sooner the better! Weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, we'll need a contract as well as a retainer. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let us know!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I coach you through images, you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
We're Awkward and my kids don't sit still.
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule - usually 2-3 hours before you're scheduled session time.

Often, when we're scheduling your initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
How will we receive our photos?
Absolutely. Well‑behaved pets are welcome—just make sure to keep them on a leash. Most of my outdoor locations require pets to be leashed (but don't worry, we can take it off for a few pictures if you trust your pet not to run away. Also it is a good idea to bring a dedicated handler so we can give your furry family member breaks while we capture the rest of your portraits.
