Oh my goodness, could precious little Eli be more sweet?!  This newborn session was extra special because I was lucky enough to photograph Eli’s mommy and daddy’s wedding a little over 4 years ago, and here they are back with their baby boy!

Ginny & Holden are completely smitten by their new addition, it was a joy that see the way they both cuddled and fussed over him.  

Babies are only little for so long and the newborn stage is over so quickly!!  Photographing babies during their first few weeks of life is so magical to me.  It can be daunting for new parents to head out of the house for quick trip to the doctor, the store to purchase diapers or to pick up a pizza – but none ever regret venturing out for an hour or 2 to have their baby photographed.  

Newborn sessions are a stress free zone at kDarling Photography.  Baby is happy but doesn’t want to sleep? No biggie, we roll with it!  Baby’s clothes a bit too big (as most newborn’s clothes are)?  No worries, I love the timeless simplicity of a white onesie (don’t worry, I have several) or baby swaddled in a white muslin blanket!  What should mom and dad wear?  I’ll guide you through picking outfits and send you a helpful guide so you know just what to expect during our time together.

Each newborn photo session includes baby photographed by his or her self with all those sweet details like the swirl of hair on the top of their head and their tiny little toes.  Parents and siblings are also included and these first family photos will be treasured for generations!
