How we respond to this time is totally on us. What we make of this gift of time is totally on us. Will we get stressed and emotional? Yes. Will we get stir crazy? Heck yes! Will we value the power of a hug when this is all over? Never again. Will we regret extra time with our loved ones? Absolutely not.

When I travel I don’t buy souvenirs. My souvenirs are photographs – memories. Recently I traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to photograph a destination wedding. Since we were there for business and not play I didn’t stray from the resort, however, the scenery right there at our hotel, the Riu Palace was gorgeous!
If time could be frozen, I would consider doing it. Momentarily. To just bottle up and keep on a shelf, all the magic of these fleeting childhood years. But I suppose that in itself is another wish, isn’t it? And perhaps we should just stop wishing for a while and focus on being present.
Guys, I get it. Figuring out what to wear for family pictures can be stressful. But it doesn’t have to be. Over the years I’ve been blessed with SO MANY great looking families in front of my camera. I’m sharing with you some of what I’ve learned from them about selecting outfits. Enjoy!

As representatives of the Champaign County Fair, they will have so new adventures and opportunities to represent Champaign County at other fairs, parades, events, as well as the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen pageant in Springfield, held in January.
