Princess Day at Pear Tree Estate was exactly the kind of day you dream about as a little girl playing dress up and watching Disney movies. Wearing your fanciest dress, wearing flower crowns, receiving jewelry, eating sweets, having your picture taken – truly a day dreams are made of!
Kaine was an amazing sleeper, and slept through most of his session, stopping to eat a couple of times. A full belly makes us all happy and sleepy – right? While he was asleep, I was able to grab some lovely macro images of all of his little features – eyelashes, lips, fingers, toes, etc…He graced us with some awesome open eyed opportunities too – love it when newborns seem to be looking right at the camera!
Welcoming kiddos back to kDarling Photography for their milestone sessions year after year is such a special reward.
Glitter sessions are here!! We are covering the studio with glitter, making it rain glitter, throwing glitter and anything else involving glitter on March 18, 2018.
Newborn sessions should be all about baby with simple, timeless images that will always remind you how your baby slept with his hand by his mouth, or how tiny those little sweet features were. There is not much to say about it other than babies are beautiful just as they are! I love to let the light and shadows tell a story that captures the innocence of your newborn child.
Creating timeless portraits of children, showing their true personalities has been the goal of kDarling Photography since the start. The Personality Portraits sessions are a perfect way to capture your child or children in timeless photographs showcasing their unique personalities through black and white photography.
Now that school is in full swing, and the Class of 2018 is settling in to their senior year, it’s time to share some of my favorites of the Class of 2017!
Meet, Joanna, Katie & Ben’s little pink bundle of joy! Look at all that hair and perfect porcelain baby skin! Ah! I just love newborn babies! Jonna’s mommy & daddy gave me free reign when selecting props, blankets, headbands etc…for the session. Sticking true to my love of neutral and muted tones and simple set […]
When Aiden’s mom told me she was planning a “Where the Wild Things Are” themed birthday, I was SO excited. This was one of my favorite books growing up! We kept the props simple to keep the focus on the birthday boy! He LOVED his cake from SugarShaper95, which fit into the theme perfectly with yummy buttercream frosting and an edible fondant crown on top.
The glow of an expectant mother is only closely rivaled by the glow of the “golden hour sun.” They are both magical in their own special way. One glows with the promise and hope of new life, and the other with the hope and promise of a beautiful evening and the promise and hope of a new day to come.
