After being a hobbyist photographer for several years, I finally turned my passion for capturing life’s moments into a career I have grown to love more and more, over the past 9 years.
My goal is to create timeless photos for couples and families capturing all the joyful moments and the tiniest of details. When you look at your photos you should get a nostalgic romantic feeling and fall in love all over again with your loved ones.
Educating my fellow photographers on how to use off-camera flash to create a natural light look in a simple and easy-to-understand way makes my heart happy.
When I’m not behind the camera, I can be found spending time with my kiddos, Payton & Mackenzie, and my hubby of 20+ years Darin. We live in the small town of Fisher located in central Illinois just minutes from Champaign Urbana where our school mascot is The Bunnies - seriously, you can't make this stuff up!

Kristin is nothing short of the full package! Upon, meeting her she was so friendly and treated us like family. She immediately put us at ease and was patient and gentle with our new little one. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Her natural look and attention to detail sets her apart. I will cherish these photos for years and years to come.
Friends are very shocked to find out I hire a photographer for the girls’ portraits, because I’m a photographer. I always say: abso-freaking-lutely! I've never once regretted spending the money to hire a photographer for our family portraits and yes, even the portraits of just the girls which I could easily take myself. While the end goal is a photo, the experience is such a part of it too!
As the bride, I felt extremely comfortable around Kristin… she ensured that we (wedding party and guests included) stuck to a timeline the day of so that everything went smoothly for my destination wedding. [She made us] feel as if we’ve known [her] for years! THE PHOTOGRAPHS WERE BREATHTAKING. It’s been over two months now and I still can’t stop looking at the photos. It’s as if you’re reliving the day over and over.
